SKAR.LET CARES

Although I have grown up in a home where all my needs are effortlessly taken care of, I have always been aware of my roots. My dad grew up in Orange Farm, with all the challenges associated with poverty. He rose above and through the challenges to create a sustainable future for himself and his family. I want to be able to spark hope in a child – so he or she will move into the future knowing they are worth something.

Poverty is undignified. It creates shame and emotional pain. So many young South Africans are battling a soul-deep feeling of being unworthy. That’s why when SKAR.LET Cares shows up, we show up with excellence – giving those we touch the message that they truly matter.
